She began singing, as so many other great artists, in the church at the age of four. As she got older and more mature her voice suddenly became more clear. LaRavons mother said that her voice is becoming much bolder and stronger ant that it was a gift from God and encouraged her to continue. LaRavon has done just that and with a truly spiritual enthusiasm.

LaRavon has been experimenting with different styles and textures of music to include in her repertoire. She covers blues, classic soul, and contemporary R & B, all with conviction, professionalism, and passion.
