Jason James was born in Boston, Massachusetts. He started playing professionally at age 13. At 15 Jason worked for Fred Gwynne of Nunsters fame at his theme park in Boston.

Jason James has opened for J. Geils, Rick Derringer, South Side Johnny & the Asbury Jukes, Eddy Clearwater, Roomful of Blues, Big Jack Johnson, Frankie Avalon, Ronnie Earl, Bill Kirchen & Taylor Dayne. Jason has workd numerous time with Jerry Lee Lewis also play guitar in Bo Diddleys back up band in the 90’s. Json has workd 2 years performing and playing all clubs on lower Broadway in Nashville as wall as 7 years at The Jerry Lee Lewis Bluc on World Famous Beale Street in Memphis and includes 52 performances at Elvis Presley’s Graceland.

Jason has bee a favorite at a great number of festivals, some include Blues & Brews, San Diego County Fair, The Big E & The Coney Island Festival Brooklyn, NY. While living in Los Angeles he performed a residence show nightly at the Shamrock Social Club on Sunset Strip West Hollywood.
