William “Sonny Mack” Norris, leader of The Mac II Band, began his professional career playing with Mr. Bobby Rush at about the time they had a hit record called “Chicken Head”. Sonny Mack went on to play with international stars such as Vernon Wells, Buddy Guy, Tyrone Davis, B.B. King, Miss Koko Taylor, as well as Little Milton Taylor and the list goes on…
Sonny and his good friend John “Mo Blues” Moore have formed the Mack II Band and have released their new CD on the Ecko Records label, entitled “Going for Gold” which was writtenby Sonny Mack and John “Mo Blues” Moore.
The Mack II Band is available for wedding reception, company functions, birthday parties, reunions, conventions, etc…. No matter what, come get your blues fix with Sonny Mack and the The Mack II Band.
